Washington sabotage on Tehran would ‘bounce’

TEHRAN, Sep. 29 (MNA) – Secretary of SNSC has said Tehran would decide to respond more seriously should Washington continue sabotage on ‘every single case.’

Ali Shamkhani who was addressing a ceremony in Milad Tower on Thursday to commemorate Ministry of Energy staff martyred in the Sacred Defense, paid homage to the culture he believed was ‘unique’ and which would guide the current generation of the youth; “the culture which helped achieve such an epic, would be excellent source of spiritual material for our young generation in leading the country forward,” Mr. Shamkhani added.

Leader’s representative in the Supreme National Security Council believed that promotion of a culture of martyrdom would provide alternatives to an aberrant culture which fosters Wahhabist extremism; “the threat should be counteracted through our culture inculcated in the perceptive minds and hearts.”

Shamkhani also praised the Ministry’s contribution in terms of logistics to the country during sanctions; “now, with the Resistance Economy, preparation for all conditions would prove more difficult than the conditions of the war,” he briefly said, turning to the issue of Washington’s sabotage; “the US had been obsessed with sabotage when Iran engaged in even the smallest trade transaction; we wait whether purchase of passenger jets from Boeing and Airbus incites still other cases of sabotage in Washington, and if we face it, we will decide in more serious way to respond; we have viewed the many examples of their conduct which had made us to reconsider possibilities of trust to the US, the JCPOA implementation as a telling example,” he emphasized.
